Join us for our Spring Concert at historic St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Church Circle, Annapolis,
Sunday, May 17, 2009, at 4 p.m.
The AYC concert celebrates patriotism and Americana aided by the music of composers Aaron Copland, Randall Thompson and Leonard Bernstein. Musically, the AYC’s selections range from folk to gospel to Broadway. Highlights include “America” from Bernstein’s “West Side Story,” “America the Beautiful” and “An American Folk Rhapsody.” Again this year, our kids will enjoy ice cream provided by Annapolis Ice Cream Company on Main Street. Thank you Walter and Nancy Giera for your support! Tickets for the Annapolis Youth Chorus concert are are available at the door. Adult tickets are $15 each. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. 22-25, the AYC will perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the
Performing Arts for the National Memorial Day Choral Festival under the
direction of Dr. Z. Randall Stroope.
