Membership and Auditions
Auditions for the fall 2009 semester will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, September 10 and Sunday, September 13, from 6-8 p.m.
at St. Anne's Episcopal Church
Singers will be asked to sing the first verse of “America the Beautiful” and one prepared piece – a folk song, a Broadway show tune or hymn (singer should provide music for the accompanist or sing unaccompanied). Depending on ability level, they may also be asked to sight-read a simple melodic and/or rhythmic line. Each audition lasts approximately 10 minutes.

Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, September 9.
Basic Membership Information:
Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Episcopal Church Parish House (199 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis)
Singers will be notified of selection within one week of the audition date.
Once selected, new singers and parents must read the membership requirements, complete an application form and sign a contract.
A 20% tuition discount will be offered to children of Annapolis Chorale singers. For families with more than one member in the AYC, there will be a 50% discount for the second child.
Tuition scholarships are available.
